Carol Malach
Reception/Administrative Assistant

Carol grew up in central New Jersey and attended Colgate University in Hamilton, NY, where she earned a BA in English. She and her husband, John, lived in NYC for several years before moving to Rochester, where they spent the next 30 years. Carol worked for a global market research organization in Rochester before founding her own market research/consulting firm.

In 2013, after visiting the Pinehurst/Southern Pines area, they bought a home in a gated golf community. This became their part-time residence until 2018, when they became full-time residents. They embraced their new, cherished role as grandparents. Their son and daughter-in-law, Joseph and Amanda, live in the Raleigh area with their grandsons, Grant and Rhys.

Carol, who never golfed before their move to Southern Pines, is now an avid golfer, even scoring her first hole-in-one on the 11th hole at Mid South Club in 2022! Carol is also a RYT 200 certified yoga teacher and Yin yoga and Reiki Level 1 certified. In her spare time, she enjoys golf, yoga, walking, and doing jigsaw puzzles.

She is very excited to be joining the CGA staff to help support and promote golf in the Carolinas!
